My name is Steve and I gained my Foundation amateur radio license M3ZEH in July 2007. I live in the S.E. of England in Leatherhead near Jctn.9 of the M25 motorway.

My station is located in a spare room of our house upstairs.
My h.f. wire antenna is a homebrew multiband OCF doublet cut for 40m, see the links to the right for more details on this and other radio related stuff.
My v.h.f antenna is a dual band collinear Watson-50 mounted on a 2" diameter pole which is 26ft (now 33ft) above the ground.
My Transceiver is an Icom IC-746 with an hm-36 mic. My dc power supply for the rig is an Icom PS-85 which incorporates a fan.

Modes of Operation
BPSK is a preffered data mode for me and the free software called Ham Radio Deluxe and digital master 780 controls my Transceiver very well. I am member #2363, #3113 & #7815 of the European PSK Club and my EU area is EN71. My pc is a home built ShuttleX P4, 3Ghz, 1Gb, Win7 with one SATA drive. I use eQSL and HRDLog for electronic QSLs and I also receive QSL cards via M0WAY my callsign manager.

Advanced License M0ZEH

Well last night I sat the Advanced exam at the Scouts HQ in Banstead. Crossed fingers for 4 weeks until I get the result. The exam was run by the Sutton & Cheam Radio Society of which I am now a member. (scrs.org.uk)
3 weeks later 29th June.... I've passed and got my new callsign M0ZEH See my Profile at eqsl.cc.

Intermediate License 2E0ZEH

After 4 Saturdays I have passed my Intermediate exam and obtained a new amateur radio license from Ofcom which will allow me to transmit 50W on certain bands.
Some data modes I have tried recently are PSK31, MCW, RTTY and SSTV.
